My Talk Radio Interview with Hannah Murray about Indian breakfast

I had a talk radio interview by Hannah Murray, the presenter and producer of Talk Radio Europe of Spain, the Marbella based radio station covering the Costa del Sol, the Costa Blanca, Almeria and Mallorca – to talk about Indian breakfast.

India for kids

She has a wonderful show about breakfasts around the world and Friday 17th 2013 was all about Indian breakfast and I was the one talking about it.

She called me few minutes just before the show and made me comfortable. She then played the track “Wanna Marry You” from the album “Raula Pai Gaya” (2007) by the Bhangra King Daler Mehndi. We then talked Indian breakfast.

This was my first ever radio talk so I was a little nervous…sorry about that.. So here’s the show about Indian breakfast. Let me know what you think.

  1. Hi Shalu,

Congratulations indeed on your first Talk Show 🙂

I heard it right through and it was great to hear you, and yes, you are only a wee bit nervous but that’s normal. I would have been terrified I think! But that was only initially I think because the more you spoke, the better you became – so cheers for that – great going. 🙂

I’m sure Hannah would love to try all the recipes and dishes you discussed with her too, something new for all who haven’t tasted any of these.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

  2. Great…this is really good for popularizing Indian food…It is really good to see people across the world learning about Indian food through new mediums like your blog and talk show. thanks for sharing..

  3. Indian break fast comes in most healthy breakfast . If you are pure vegetarian then also you have enough option. Indian not dependent on bread and tea only. THanks for the article!!

  4. My heartiest congratulations on your first talk show, It sounds simply amazing. It’s always a bit scary to do something for the first time. However, I didn’t notice that you were nervous. Good luck with your future talk shows!

  6. Hi Mrs. Beautiful Shalu, greetings from Indonesia.
I always feel so excited when I heard everything about India. Someday I will come to visit your country, as you always recommend here.. 🙂

  7. It is really great thing. Being on an interview internationally is something really huge. We are completely proud of you. Being nervous is just an initial state and that happens with almost everybody.

Great going and hope to see you on TV very soon.

    Thank you for sharing.
