French numbers 1-100

Learning numbers in French is an essential skill, especially for travelers. Whether you’re buying tickets, ordering food, shopping, booking hotels, or simply asking for directions, knowing how to count in French will make communication smoother and more enjoyable. From 1 (un) to 100 (cent), these numbers will help you handle prices, dates, times, addresses, and quantities confidently during your journey.

Learning French numbers is one of the most practical and rewarding steps when starting with the language. Numbers are not just words- they are tools you will use constantly in daily life. From buying a baguette in Paris, checking the price of a taxi, catching a train from platform nine, to confirming your hotel room number, numbers are everywhere.

French numbers have a few patterns that might look unusual at first especially in the 70s, 80s, and 90s  but once you see the logic, it all makes sense. They’re also the foundation for telling time, talking about dates, discussing quantities, and even giving or asking for a phone number.

For travelers, this knowledge is particularly useful. It bridges communication gaps in situations where pointing or gestures aren’t enough. Even if you don’t speak full sentences, being able to understand and say numbers clearly can help you pay the correct amount, follow directions confidently, and avoid misunderstandings. In short, French numbers from 1 to 100 are an essential travel skill - simple, powerful and worth mastering.

How to Make Indian Chai

In India, “chai” simply means tea, but it’s not just tea leaves in hot water. Indian chai is a warm, spiced, milky drink enjoyed across the country. It’s a daily ritual, served to guests as a gesture of hospitality, sipped in homes, and sold at small roadside stalls called “chaiwallahs.” Each region and family may add its own twist with spices like ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, or pepper. Chai is not only a drink but also a way of bringing people together.

Diwali For Kids

Diwali For Kids: Why We Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights

I am so excited to share some wonderful news with you! My new children’s book, Diwali For Kids: Why We Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, has just been published and is now available on Amazon USA and Amazon UK.

This project has been a true labor of love. As a parent and a storyteller, I wanted to create something special for children that not only celebrates Diwali but also explains the meaning and traditions behind it in a way that is simple, engaging, and fun.

Why I Wrote Diwali For Kids

Diwali is one of the most important festivals celebrated in India and by millions of people across the world. It is also known as the Festival of Lights, a time when families come together to clean their homes, decorate with rangoli, light little clay lamps called diyas, share sweets, exchange gifts, and enjoy fireworks.

But Diwali is more than just lights and sweets. It is a festival filled with stories, values, and traditions that teach children about hope, kindness, togetherness, and the victory of good over evil.

I realized that while there are many books about Christmas, Easter, and other world holidays available for children, there were far fewer that explain Diwali in a clear, kid-friendly way. That’s where the idea for this book came from to give children a chance to learn about Diwali through beautiful illustrations and simple storytelling.
